The SSC GD (General Duty) 2021 exam pattern for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment typically consists of four major stages:


" Computer-Based Examination (CBE)

" Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST)

" Medical Examination

" Document Verification

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the SSC GD 2021 exam pattern for each stage: 


Detailed Exam Pattern:

Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-Based Test)
 of Questions: 100 Questions

General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 Questions
General Knowledge and Awareness: 25 Questions
Elementary Mathematics: 25 Questions
English/Hindi: 25 Questions

Total Marks: 100 Marks

Each question carries 1 mark.
Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)

Negative Marking:

0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.


Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST):

After qualifying the Computer-Based Exam, candidates need to undergo PET/PST.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

For male candidates:
Race: 5 km in 24 minutes.

For female candidates:
Race: 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes.
